PLACING ORDERS
01 TO PLACE AN ORDER
ONLINE
- Use retailers.ruffwear.com to place orders online. Order on your schedule with intuitive navigation and real-time inventory availability. Ordering online is the fastest way to get your order placed.
- Ready to Order Online? Click the ENROLL NOW button below to confirm your account contacts. Once completed, you’ll receive a “Welcome” account activation email from NuORDER. Check out our Online Ordering Orientation section below to get started.
- Use orders@ruffwear.com to send orders directly to Ruffwear. You’ll receive a reference number and your order will go to the order queue. Emailed orders are entered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Use the orders@ruffwear.com email along with the most current order form (downloadable from Ruffwear’s Media Library) to increase order entry speed and accuracy.
- Use support@ruffwear.com for non-order related questions. This email address can be used to inquire about invoices, store locator questions, product questions, inventory availability, and other non-order related questions.
02 EMAIL ORDERING BEST PRACTICES
Our team works to process orders as efficiently as possible. We appreciate your adherence to the following recommended best practices to improve accuracy and timely entry (example below):
- Email orders directly to orders@ruffwear.com for input to our system. You’ll receive an immediate auto-response with an order reference number. Please do not “cc” orders@ruffwear.com in any order specific communication as it may cause an error in our system. Always make orders@ruffwear.com the primary recipient.
- To speed up order entry time and increase accuracy, we greatly appreciate receiving orders in .csv, .xlsx, and .txt files that can be imported directly into our order system.
- We cannot add to, or change, orders already in our system. If you’d like to order additional items please place another separate order in a new order form and separate email.
- For all orders sent to orders@ruffwear.com, please list your business name and location in the subject line.
03 ORDER CONFIRMATION GLOSSARY OF TERMS
These are the most commonly used terms when relaying Ruffwear order information to Retailers.
- Out of Stock: the status of an item, not available currently
- Obsolete Style: New design of this style is available with feature updates under a new SKU/UPC.
- Obsolete Color: Specific color is no longer offered for the product. New colors may be available under a new color code.
- Dropped Style: All colors and sizes of this style are no longer offered in the Ruffwear line.
- Canceled: an action we are taking with an item. The item has been removed from the sales order and will not ship or bill.

- Need to update addresses or contact information? Use support@ruffwear.com to request updates.
- Need to update your payment method? We will never ask you to share credit card information via email. Please call during business hours to update payment information securely.
